This international learning journey is designed to expose students to cutting-edge science, global institutions, cultural landmarks, and innovative experiences. From space exploration at NASA to exploring U.S. history, governance, and technology, students will gain a holistic understanding of the United States’ global influence and its role in shaping the future.

Activities

▪ NASA Kennedy Space Center – Experiential Learning
Dive into the world of aerospace science with a guided visit to NASA’s Kennedy Space Center. Students engage in interactive exhibits, simulate astronaut training, and attend live sessions with astronauts to understand space missions and the future of exploration.

▪ Maid of the Mist Cruise & Niagara Power Vista Tour
Sail into the mist of Niagara Falls aboard the famous cruise and visit the Niagara Power Vista, where students explore hydropower technology and environmental sustainability in action.

▪ Universal’s Islands of Adventure – STEM Meets Thrill
A day of excitement where science meets storytelling. Explore themed rides and exhibits that connect engineering, design, and physics in an immersive setting.

▪ Hershey’s Chocolate World – The Unwrapped Experience
Go behind the scenes to discover the science and business of chocolate-making. Students participate in a hands-on chocolate lab, learn about global supply chains, and enjoy sweet tastings.

▪ Washington, D.C. – History, Governance & Culture
Tour the U.S. Capitol Building, explore Smithsonian Museums, and take a guided bike tour around key monuments. Understand how democracy functions and how American history is preserved and presented.

▪ New York City – Global City Immersion
Experience the vibrancy of NYC with visits to Times Square, the United Nations Headquarters, and major landmarks. Students gain insights into international relations, media, urban infrastructure, and multiculturalism.
